Long Distance....
Very Long Distance Wala Pyaar
When people hear “long distance,” they picture two lovebirds managing different time zones, endless video calls, and occasional flight tickets. But here’s the twist: our story isn’t technically long distance. We’re just calling it that to sound fancy. 😉
Here’s what actually happened:
- He’s from Rajasthan, where every meal needs a ghee check ✓
- She’s from Odisha, where life without mustard oil is just sad
- And then there was California, where we bonded over our mutual confusion about bland Paneer Butter Masala.
Our “long distance” highlights:
- Him: “Where’s the ghee on this roti?” 🫓
- Her: “This aloo needs mustard oil!”
- Both of us: Found our happy place in Chilli Garlic Noodles and bubble tea (because when in California… 🧋)
- The real food love story? Dal baati met dalma, ghevar danced with rasagola, and dhodha barfi fell for chhena poda!
Who knew it would take traveling halfway across the world to find someone who lived a domestic flight away? Turns out love doesn’t need Google Maps – it just needs two foodies who can laugh at each other’s spice tolerance!
PS: The wedding menu is going to be EPIC! (Because when a girl from Odisha and a guy from Rajasthan decide to feed people, you better come hungry!) 🍽️
